eyes wide open

im always getting lost and taking pictures in the most random places..but now, when i find places i like the will go in to the "picture taking spots" set in my flickr photostream.. i would love any ideas anyone might have! And if you like one my spots and would like to take some pictures there..just let me know!

i am loving these pictures from my grandparents dating days. there were quite a few pictures of this baby--i think they were havin a little photo shoot :) thanks sarah for putting all of this history together!

there is a commercial running on local channels around here right now celebrating oregons 150th birthday. its one of those really well written, easy to listen to type tv commercials. it says something to the effect of "..oregons turns are just like letters unfolding from an envelope of love.." i have driven those scenes and it is like no other. sorry to those of you on the east coast. oregon is whats up.

really if you havent driven the historic highway yet through the Columbia Gorge you should asap. i cant wait to go with cody and explore so much more--instead of just driving through on a holiday weekend.
